Want to be our full time UI ARTIST?
UI Artist
We are currently looking for a full time User Interface Artist to dazzle the world with their skills. As the makers of the Massively Multiplayer Online hits City of Heroes and City of Villains, we are looking for the artist who can make our super powers truly special. Everyday you could be:
Should be able to work intimately with Design, Engineering and the Lead Artist to brainstorm, conceptualize, create and implement all UI elements.
Have a strong knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator (or other vector based design program), and a 2D animation program like Flash or After Effects.
Have well rounded design skills, including a solid understanding of color, space and typography.
Have the ability to create both static and dynamic animated UI systems with a solid understanding of basic animation principles.
Have at least 3 years experience creating user interfaces or menus for video games, film, DVDs, or websites.
Ability to learn proprietary and consumer user interface tools.
Ability to take direction from Lead Artist.
Ability to work within a schedule and deliver assets as required on time.
Ability to generate website and marketing content
Things wed like to see:
2 to 5 years in game development
Titles shipped are a huge plus
Strong portfolio, demo reel or website demonstrating high quality art renderings.
3 to 5 years of Photoshop in a Windows based environment
4 year degree recommended
