Hello again everyone,
This week I am posting a very personal piece. This painting started as a 15 mn. black and white quick pose in life drawing using my wacom, Painter and laptop setup. I came home and looked at it and thought that he looked like a dead king. The next morning I received a unexpected phone call informing me that my father was dead. I was in a complete state of shock... not having the slightest idea of how to deal with it, I sat down at my table, picked up my stylus and furiously finished painting this image using the acrylic brushes in Painter and a heavy dose of tears. Rest in peace Dad.

God rest his soul. This is what art is about, expression.

I was in your seat a year ago and I know what you're going through.
Wish the best for you and your family.
"nice image" is not, that you want to hear, i guess.
be strong!
I lost a cousin to an accident so I am there myself.
To all:
Just love life more-than-ever and cherish those in your family while they are still around tell them you love them even if you feel weird saying it too much cause you never know.
Keep your head up

The painting radiates a sort of noble sadness. It's inspiring to see you channel your emotions with your artwork.
