MAX newbie question...

I saw this windows from others using 3ds max, and cannot locate it from application. Hitting seven (7) on keyboard will make similar information, but I am wondering if I am missing it or it is plugins that I can download from somewhere...

I think they got rid of it in max 9 and replaced it with the viewport info

Yeah, that's only available with Max 8 and earlier. You can find it in the Utility panel (you might have to click on the "More" button to find it if it's not listed on one of the buttons already).

Max 9 has a new version that displays right in the viewport. Right-click the viewport name and select "Show Statistics" (or something like that).
