I never played it buy I have heard of it. It was an old NES game.

yeah. there seems to be a little more info on the NES version. but i'm specifically looking for tips and tricks concerning the arcade / mame port. the two are quite a bit different as far as i can tell. i used to play it back in the day. and could finish it collecting most of the hidden items. but i know there's a bunch of stuff i missed. it's a pretty deep game. and i'd like to start playing again if i can find what i'm after. but the information age seems to be failing me. i can't find shit all

It's an awesome puzzle game from the good ol days. I was pretty pumped when they released it for one of the Wii's VC downloads.

Have you checked all the MAME related sites? Those MAME freaks are pretty obsessive about documenting anything and everything arcade related. I built a MAME cab a few years ago and was pretty into that whole scene. I'll see if I can dig up antyhing.
