The Girlfriend and myself went to see this last nite. And we both enjoyed it a good bit. It seemed really fresh and original. It didn't come across as a monster movie, as a family crissis movie. And the Family crissis just happened to be a huge monster.

The one thing that really confused me was the whole virus thing. It seemed obvious to me there was no virus, but they kept talking about it over and over. Not sure if i was missing something in the translation. I kinda got the feeling that the government was wanting a virus, or hoping for a virus or something. not really sure

I watched this last night too, utterly bizarre film. Like you say the virus stuff was odd, but at the point where the doctors talk about the blonde guys brain I thought I was watching a comedy. Pretty cool CG though, despite the seemingly low budget.

I never knew if it was a comedy or not.

But I loved it regardless.

Great movie. Very enjoyable.
