how do you make an ISO of your disc?
for the FFX one, I just downloaded the assets from some spammy site, but they still worked.
Don't know how to actually get those assets on my own

Would be nice to know what models work and not. A lot of the extracted files crash on me. I speak off ff12 models of course..

Most models works, it's just that they are mixed with the animation files that crash the viewer. I'm working on a new dumper that should resolve this issue (hopefully I will release it later today).

Maybe I'm just dense, but I can't seem to find directions on how to use this software. Maybe it wouldn't hurt to have a txt file in the zips with directions.

i love these progs.
I'm running into some problems with certain models not loading the correct textures, and the alpha sorting isn't working properly.
But for the majority of the models everything works great. Thanks again!

sorry to do this...but can somebody sum up in a few words what this actually is? is it just a prog to view your models?

So you can view models from the mentioned Square Enix games.

Maybe the next one you make should be a vagrant story model viewer >_>

This should work for Jap/Eu releases of the game.

Got slightly delayed. I have something working, but it needs a little more testing.

It should work with NA builds too. I just didn't have time to check.
Rip the DVD to an Iso on your Hard disk - about 4-5 Gig
One utility rips the artwork from the ISO - about 300 Meg
The other utility is a model viewer, use it to see the art. Draw and drop the raw file into the viewer to prevent crashes.
The art folders are named something like c for characters, w for weapons, s for summons, m for monsters etc.
prefereably free
