Is it possible to exclude the low-res object(the actual projection cage) from the Ambient Occlusion pass, done with the Render To Texture ? I know in Max9 there is an option to exclude objects, but how to do that using Max8? Any suggestions ?
That's actually one of the "upgrades" in the new Max 9 extension coming out...
"The Render to Texture dialog box now has settings to allow the exclusion of objects from Ambient Occlusion passes. This allows you to, for example, exclude the low-res object in a projection modifier from the Ambient Occlusion pass."
