OSX > custom icon for USB Dog Turd

I'm building a USB dog turd for my boss (out of a fake turd, of coarse) and I was wondering if there was a way to have it show up with a custom turd icon instead of the usual usb drive icon. As an added bonus, I was wondering if there's a way to play a custom sound (farting sound) when plugging it in, like an autoplay feature. This is all in OSX

Have you tried to copy and paste a new icon onto the current one in the Get Info window for the usb drive?

I know how to do it with Windows, but not OSX. If he'll be using it on both a PC and a Mac, I can get you the code file, and a sample image file to use, so that at least it shows up as a turd on a PC.

on osx you just insert the usb stick, grab the info, change the icon (If you don't know how to do this check online or osx help) and eject the usb stick.

from now on, every time you insert it, if will come up as a custom icon. I have custom icons for all my flash cards and external drives.
