Does anyone create a buildup of gross oily deadness from their fingers on their mouse or keyboard?

The mouse Left button for me always had this wave of dark crust that looks and feels like a earwax from a dead bat.

anyone else expirence this?

Black mice have it just as bad. Once it starts feeling disgusting i clean it off. It's to be expected when you're constantly holding something.

i mostly clean it once a week, and yes specialy the left mouse button and the left top side gets nasty

I don't get it so much anymore because I don't spend much time at my PC at home anymore. But when I used to live on it, I'd always get the build up stuff. I just assumed it was because I ate at my PC most of the time and it would get some oily residue and dust will build up on it.
I usually use these phone cleaning swabs (or some kind of cleaning/disinfectant swabs) at least once a month. Works like a charm.
