Looks like there are incredibly talented people taking part in this competition. I myself have only recently began studying 3d, this fall but heck I'll do this just for the fun of it.
Anyways. Let me introduce Carnis Scissum:
His enormous body size decieves a fools eye whilst his actions are fast, precise and of insane power. He will approach you slowly. Like a mountain would move a shadow and yet if you miss a glimpse he's already there. He sees or hears not but he feels your presence and knows your every move for his eyes have trapped inside thousand spirits that show both past and the future.

I've modelled most of the base structure early this week. Yesterday I put together current uvwmaps so now I can start texturing

I've been thinking about the weaponry. Blunt weapons would suit him well but on the other hand he also cuts according to the name. So perhaps I'll make a long combination staff with a blade on the other end and a hammer on the other.

Pleasant surprise for myself, I managed to draw quite alot today:
I'm going to start cutting more polygons. I think 3000 would be quite too much for this but I guess that's the games nowadays. My mind is still stuck somewehere around half-life 1

Here it is, the final version. I posted finals today. There's one more week left but as for me I wouldn't have had time to work on it and well it's the best I can do with my current skill level.
I haven't studied bone rigging yet but managed to build some thanks to max tutorials
So there, the first completed character model I've ever made
