Greetings Polycount!!
I'm new to the forum and excited about entering the Dominance War and joining the ranks of my evil brethren.
I started with some silhouettes to bounce some ideas around. I'm going for a sleek assassin/scout character that uses an assortment of poisons to confuse, subdue, and kill both unsuspecting as well as suspecting foes. Now that she's an employed shadow, she likes to mix new poisons using the blood of her slain enemies.
I'm working on designing some communication devices for her now.
I like number 4, but I'm curious to see what everyone thinks.

Decided to do a bit more work with silhouette number 4
Still hammering out her overall look and figuring out equipment. More to come...
I'm really diggin the sketches so far.
I think one of the things that has kind of always bugged me about your human designs is that the heads are always very spherical..kinda kills a lot of the structure. Makes em look kinda babyish.
i love the body armor design in your detail sketch though.
could do some really neat stuff with the crazy high knee boots.
you could do a lot more with the tube goin from her shoulder to her gloves. lots more pathways to it. more to the glove itself. http://www.inition.co.uk/inition/images/product_glove_immersion_hapticworkstation.jpg
hop to bro, let's see some more work
Thanks for the input Jeff, much appreciated. I'll take what I can get at this point.
I'll be starting the base mesh soon while refining some other areas such as the swords on her back and the blade-unit which holds them on her back.
I did some work on her glove as well as sharpened up the face a bit. I also added a couple more wires that lead from her suit input to her poison claw. Any feedback is welcome and appreciated.
More to come..
This concept is looking great man, i especially like the design on the gloves, add more of those kind of details to the rest.
Keep goin. lookin foward to seing more.
I appreciate your comments man, I like the look of her glove also and will heed your advice to add more detail to the rest of her armor so the design is cohesive.
Thanks for the post, more on the way!
Here is the state of the model and the weapons. I'm unwrapping her as I type. I won't be doing a high poly version or any normal mapping so I'm planning to take care of many of the small details in the texture.
I should have just enough time to get this done and in before the deadline. Back to work.
More to come...
Here's a bit of the texture work I've been doing.
This is where I stand at the moment..
Still tweaking the diffuse and spec maps to get them to look the way I want them to.
Otherwise, I've gotta get her final pose and base built and textured.
Almost done!
Keep at it.
So, are you referring to both pads, or just the left (her left) one? Either way, I think you mad a good point in that I strayed a bit from the concept on some things. I generally tend to do that, but your point is valid bro.
I feel the changes are worth the effort. It's DWII crunch time after I get off of work today, so I'll work on it.
Thanks man!
Here's Anemone on her base, probably using something like this for the winning pose.
See ya at the finish line!
This has been great fun and I'm looking forward to everyone's entry and the next war.
