If they were trying to make a quick buck, they kinda failed there - they've been trying to get that remake done for years now. I kinda hoped it had sunk without a trace after the one where Will Smith of all people was going to play the Min Sik-Choi role.
Not many people have seen Old Boy. It is a cult movie. I did not see it till last year after I finally gave in to a friend bugging me to watch it (since 2004~2005).
It is a twisted story, and I am sure people will like it.

That uhm... that looks kinda awesome. Asylum movies are usually phenomenally bad, and the cg does look pretty weak, but it looks like they actually spent more than $5 on the cinematography which can go a big way to making a bad movie tolerable. I'm pretty forgiving of bad movies though and kinda even enjoyed 2-headed Shark Attack:poly122:
@Breakneck - For me its the craziness of the TV station that aired that. Makes you think twice about the veracity of everything that is circling in the media (news channels).
Good thing i threw my TV out the window years ago.
people screw around at work, it's part of being human. they probably pass fake stories to the anchors all the time, but the anchors spot it and laugh/groan whatever. seems like this time she didnt get the joke until too late.
