still, it doesn't seem like you can actually carry much on a levitated magnet, since in the videos they just touch them lightly and they move. They just seem to support their own weight?
Well, that might be fake, but superconductors that are cooled to extremely low temperatures and placed over a magnetic track can do the exact same thing.
Though I am still trying to see how the hell he picked up an object without the gloves. This may also be fake. But there are many other vids proving it.
EDIT: I still dont get people use liquid nitrogen like its a joke.
Nitewalkr: Compared to the temperature of the liquid nitrogen, your hand is ridiculously hot. In small quantities, it actually reaches boiling point and vaporizes -effectively creating a cloud of nitrogen - before it can do any real damage.
This is called the Leidenfrost effect: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leidenfrost_effect
So dipping your fingertip briefly in liquid nitrogen would be pretty safe. Putting your hand in a barrel of the stuff on the other hand...
Still, this stuff should still be met with extreme caution imho!

well, this is true, but this varpor effect only protects you for like half a second or second
this stuff is dangerous
Of course! You would be a complete idiot if you even attempted to dip your hand or finger in liquid nitrogen at all!
But the physics behind the Leidenfrost effect are pretty freaking cool.
@Fake Wipeout Promo - Man, I remember when games were promoted the old fashioned way... in Gamepro magazine. These viral campaigns rub me the wrong way.
Anyways, I found this graphic and thought it was cool.
Geezus, I saw a kid running about in a pikachu costume at my local supermarket the other day, and he was running up to ppl shouting 'pii-kaaa-chuuuuuu!!!!!!!' and pretending to shoot lightning at them!
