I'm confused about that Simpsons video. Is it an actual intro, or is it copyright in fragment to show that Simpsons hires cheap workers from Asia to do their bidding?

I'm pretty sure The Simpsons has been using Flash to animate their show like most western animation studios for some time now. Unless they've outsourced to what appears to be a version of the forced labor dungeon from Temple of Doom and bought them an Adobe license I think it's just a joke.
I think the Simpsons is still hand drawn, but it's been scanned and digitally painted for the last few seasons. That intro was very weird when i saw it this evening.
