I debated whether or not I should try my hand at this. I realize there are a bunch of others doing the whole multi-armed insect hybrid thing, but oh well. Heres my concept so far...went a little overboard in spots. I need to add some tech looking armor bits or something. Also, designing an actual weapon/weapons. He is supposed to be a super fast assassin type who scurries around on all his limbs like a beetle, and when it's time to fight, he bends his front half into an upright position where he can use his 4 humanoid arms to fight and his weird pointy legs to scurry around. I don't think he looks evil enough at this point. Maybe I should get rid of the human arms.

Hehe, yeah. It seems as far as Polycount is concerned, the greatest icons of evil are the bug and the woman.

That said, your guy is quite unique and has a bit more of a crustacean look to him. Maybe it'd be worth focusing on that aspect so he stands out even more.

I assume that's since few of us have girlfriends . As for the concept, I would expand further on the crustacean imagery. Perhaps a good ol' crab claw or eye stalkts are in order. You seem to be heading in the sort of nautical imagery, which I think would be a really unique path to take. Replace the human arms on the sides with CRAB CLAWS!

Jackablade & Dread_reaper: I am definitely gonna take your advice about the crustacean thing and try to emphasize that more. I will try and scribble up some ideas during my lunch break and post them later.

Might be a little while til I can do more concepting. My drawing hand got absolutely mangled in a machine at work and I cant even hold a pen at the moment...soo frsutrating. mousing/typing with 1 hand is pretty fun...anyways, good luck everyone else...Im gonna catch up...just you wait!
