Heya Polycounters!
I only just skimmed over the Dominance War Rules and didn't participate last year. If I have entered incorrectly, please give me a shout. I am still a N00B here at Polycount. My name is Mya and I am from Canada. I've been a college Graduate of Game Art for two months now.
I am quite interested in this here community. I have a membership at CGSociety, but I think you guys are far more rad! So I want to try for this here for fun and a community experience. I am still venturing in my artist styles so I will need alot of help. I would appreciate your helpful critiques and will check out everyone's work here and see to giving you feedback as well.
I am trying to make use of bright brilliant colors to catch the eye and give this some edge. I am using influences of 80s/90s, Cyberpunk, Construction Workers, Scuba Divers, Blondie(band), The Fifth Element, Punk/Rock music, Japanese Street Fashion, Stylized Realism.
I'd prefer her to be fashion heavy as a form of status but still functional in battle. I want stylization but not to this extent. I think I will refine to a more realistic structure whilst still having a slender look. The colors still aren't doing it for me below the belt. Perhaps they are too Quirky.
I am hesitant on a pet for her but it would be very fun, I think. Probably just a distraction. I'll try doing some silhouettes and more sketches to better refine her.

Welcome to Polycount, keep it real.
There was gang in the Games Workshop Necromunda game that had a similar sort of style to this. Escher, if I remember rightly.
Kind of a Tankgirl theme I guess.
You'll see my silhouette concepts for thumbnail tomorrow night. Talk to you later.
Just did a quick scribble of the facial features
