Maya - Right Click Menus Gone

Hey, working in Maya 8.0, don't know what happened but for some reason my right click doesn't bring up the marking menus it should, but acts like middle clicking does (moves/scale/rotate/etc... along last used axis.)

I've tried deleting my prefs folder and resetting my prefs, but it hasn't worked. It makes it very hard to work. Anyone know why this is happening/how to fix it?

I've had similar things like this happen, like my render window would not come up no matter what I did. A fresh install seems to do the trick in situations such as these. Hope you figure it out!

weird...just had the exact same problem and ive been trying to figure it out.
hope reinstalling isnt the only way to fix it, i bet its something like hitting X in MAX

I have the same problem occasionally Tulkamir, but for the life of me I can't figure out what causes it.

Rebooting my computer always fixes the problem.

Wow, good to hear I'm not the only one. Had been a bit worried my computer or installation was messed.

And uhg! to milkshape. My roots lay in gMax.

yeah mine just fixed itself when I rebooted. annoying as hell.
