Hey all! This is my first submission to this forum, and I gotta say I am an psyched to win this war! Looks like I got here just in time!
This is just the head so far, but I've got an image of him cooking up in the old skull. I was thinking of going either old-world barbarian with him, or some kind of sci-fi. Perhaps both? Here' his head, you tell me.
Further thumbnails will come once I get a little feedback.

I kind of hate the feet so far, and I'm not entirely sure what to you with his arms. I am thinking one hard-wired in a big drill or claw, and the other hard-wired into come absurdly large projectile weapon. Either way this baddy's got mean attitude. Critique away!

His feet looks ouch though.. maybe get rid of the platform?

I came to this forum as a student, currently learning the art of 3D modeling. While I have a developing grasp of the topic and an abiding interest, I am not able to produce the quality of work neccessary to compete in this particular Dominance War. If there are any modelers out there who are still in need of a subject, I would gladly offer up my concept to them to model, in hopes of somehow contributing to our impending victory in the Second Dominance War. If anyone is interested, please reply to this thread or PM me. I am willing to leave the concept as it is, or I can develop it further if another modeler is willing to work with me towards a common goal. Hopefully soon I will be able to participate in the same high-quality contests as you fine ladies and gentlemen.

P.S. I do not know if collaboration on a project violates the rules of the Dominance War. If so, please let me know.

Do it do it do it, go on Doooo it

P.S. I consider this to be my best work yet. Thoughts?
The contest ends on the 19th so there is still a fair amount of time left.
Thats a pretty solid mech, I'm sure you'll do fine
so unto thee i say, thou dost get ur arse into gear!

and wtf.. nobody expects from someone more than he-she could do with the state of skills he-she has
but they expect you to improve them as much as you can .. so keep on

also i would recommend to try a 45°-arm pose than the t-pose and you should try to give all the edgeloops a more natural non linear feeling.. atm your body looks very blocky
and at this early stage of modelling i would also not model any tiny muskles (neck)
and don´t render on a so dark background and i always helps to add a edged-faces viewport screenshot or a flatshadet render instead of a smoothed
hope this helps a bit
and keep on !!

the amount of points make it very hard for you to give the model fast a clear shape
thats only a tut for a head (daz you could realy posted this by yourself )
but it helps to get the point

Another question is bothering me. What do I do about coloring him? I mean, zbrush has some color features, but I have little expirience it in so far, and I have never UV mapped or skinned a model before. Which would be easier? I know we are coming up on the due date really quickly, and I will only have access to the modeling program for a few more days, so time is sort of of the essence.
Thanks for the help!
