I personally like the big boots but i think you should make some other parts bigger to, like a big shoulder plate and big hands/gloves.

Great concept, though its looking really plain from the waist down to the knees and the weakest areas at the moment are the wrist guards and the head. Something about them just seem a let down in comparison to what's happening on the chest armour and the sleek boots.

you have all kinds of stuff going on in the textures of the armor, lets see something to break apart the silouette. maybe some pipes or canisters, seems too sleak to me.
you don't seem to be following the concept verry close on the armor, some of the detail looks like "oh theres some square polys here i can extrude straight out to make some detail!" i used to do that myself when i was newer to modeling,, don't make easy modeling sacrifices, follow that rather nice concept closely
also on the concept the mask on the face looks to go almost straight down into the chest, where you would not see much of the neck at all,
The forearms look tiny, and his proportions remind me of a midget. It also doesn't look like you've followed the concept that closely. The colour of the armour should also be a bit darker, it looks white not silver at the moment.
You've got a pretty cool concept, and my best advice would be to just follow it more closely. The concept has some nice proportions, but the proportions of the model are a bit off. The entire body seems too wide, and the forearms look pretty weak compared to those in the concept.

The Staff or Lance has the same height or longer the charater..
The new version of the weapon is much better I think, looks really good.

That is why the modell looks diffrent.
