I've seen some models that have a mix of flesh and mechanical parts, interated. meaning one is coming out of the other, and the flesh is wrapped around or into the machine. How do you guys achieve this effect? can you load 2 models into zbrush, so as to let me scult the flesh around the flesh? what tricks are there for this?

it's kind if hard to draw a mask on any particular mesh bit.

Zbrush has several different ways to hide mesh parts. By UV shells is an obvious one.
