And im in!!

I was thinking of making the Hardass infantry unit of the Polycount army

    That looks cool HEx...for infantry. The idea behind the contest is to create a "Super soldier", so I would recommend you try giving this guy some form of exagerated feature(s) that would differentiate him from just regular infantry. Can you also lighten up that pic? I can barely make it out smile.gif

    I like your style, you have an interesting looking idea. But like Quasar suggested, you might try exploring some ways to make him feel more unique. Perhaps larger weaponry or more complexly detailed armor.

    If you are set on a creating a bad ass infantry, you're off to a good start!

    jey.. he is atm looking like a normal soldier nothing important or to care about (on the battlefield)

    the idear behind the char is nice.. every part on him is cool but too "normal" .. so give him a bit "special love" wink.gif

    Ok thanks mates, i will keep it in mind. I will also load up a brighter picture. I guess i will try to remake the concept a bit, but not differ from the originall too much wink.gif

    Im changing the concept quite a bit, but it's not differing too much from the original character. It will instead be a man with this armour/ dressup, with extreamly battleworn gear, A heavy machinegun (of the model type from the originall concept). And instead of a helm and a mask, he will have a green berey with the polycount tag and a dirty heavely scarred face with a piece of ciggar. The expression to super soildier will not be based on big armour and gear, but more like a look of experience.

    think i can pull that off?

    Thank you ^^ as of now the character seems plain, that is because im not even near the detail part, i got a few things in mind that i havent drawn, but it will make the character alot more personal. A big gun with lots of bags and funny looking gear smile.gif

    but what do you people think? i cant decide if i should have some sort of really big gun that could blow away half a block, or some sort of high caliber smg/pistol and a close combat weapon.

    When in doubt, go for the weapon with enough firepower to flatten a mountain range.

    It's coming along nicely. The eyes are too high on the head though, they should be in the middle.

    Ya i kinda thought so too, but i made a mesure but it seems to be right, allthough it still looks wrong. I should try to make em more inwards and see what happends.
