no no, you're on the right track. well, ok, so the guy looks mostly "wistful," and nowhere near evil, but you're absolutely at the right level of finish for these sketches. keep it loose and simple, like you've got now. but what you've got to do is more of these sketches. about 10 of them. as i've said elsewhere, do about as many as you're comfortable doing, and then do twice that number. when your finally done, you'll hate me and yourself a little, until you discover that toward the end, amid some of the more desperately random sort of sketches, there is actually a pretty good idea or tow.

It's a god fetus, still alive though. The idea being it was found in the aftermath of the last war and we draw it's power for our own benefit. The final design will probably have it mostly covered by it's wings in the container though.
Amazing high poly work man, that cloth looks sexual. I must say he's not looking evil enough by a long shot yet! How about a blindfold to show he lends his sight from the gods (he'd also need a huge evil grin if that were the case). Just an idea, keep at it!

Started roughing him out to get better feel of him in 3d.
I also dropped the winged fetus idea. Thought it was a little grotesque when I really just wanted to show him harnessing the power of the gods
so for now there's a cherub like creature with raven wings that flys alongside him.
my only real crit is that the cherub's head is too small.
cherub guy is probably going to change into some kind of mechanical hawk that'll be used for scouting.
Go on.
only to let you know i care
the upper arms are a bit bulky
