good work on the face, I know hes not human but the musculature of the body is disturbingly lumpy, maybe use a skinny athletic person as a reference and then adjust a few of the muscles positions to make it more alien? I use mudbox a bit and Ive found using largish softer bulge brushes and then using the pinch brush for definition is far more convincing in most cases than using the soft brush/bulge brush and simply inverting them.
well he's a nasty brute, isn't he? the model seems to be coming along piecemeal, which isn't necessarily bad, but could definitely cause problems with the overall cohesiveness at the end of things. i hope you've got something like a strong concept to go off of... anyway, keep working, keep honing it, keep posting!
