Yar!

Little description of my shadow - he is insane and a bit unstable. He grew up in an asylum, marked as patient 654-PCF. Incredibly fast and clever - he escaped his cell many times, only to hide inside the aslyum.
While the military was looking for test subjects for their new genetical project they found him - only, he didn't need no fancy medicine up his butt, he was that good.
Now he takes part of the most undercover and top-secret sneaking, stealing, assassination missions.

Let's hope he won't get a little whacky while killing our enemys!

Ou, and he has a fetish for green, his helmet is going to be a green smiley face (DINGDONG!), designed by him.

Concepts of the helmet tonight!

I think it seems crazy and evil enough. Well, at least the start, the helmet should include bolts, engravings, etc. Btw, the green is paint.

good start, Ander, going to enjoy watching this one develop... for the helmet/mask, developing the surface texture later on will be critical to making it properly creepy. for my money, there are few masks creepier than the little porcelain mask for the torture chamber as seen in Brazil--the distorted proportions, the material, or something like that might be worth looking into. good stuff, man, keep it up.

    Thanks!

As you can see, the design is not finished. Im kind of stuck - everything I draw at the moment looks a bit generic. It's hard to make a stealthsuit, that doesn't look like it's taken from Metal Gear. Btw, the round thing in the middle is important! It's the place where the char sticks a big fat needle, if he gets a bit out of control. Rampage!

    I need ideas. frown.gif

Okey, I think I got the basic concept down, except for the arms. Il do the details, when I will draw him again. Does anyone know, where I could get a good front and side view of a male with black borders and empty inside, so I could print it out and draw my armor on him for a good model sheet?

Woot, cheat. Printed out a picture of a man, got the front, side and back view - then drew on it. Front is pretty much finished, side and back view still in progress. laugh.gif
Now, the face - the mouth area has a mask inside too, it opens up and my crazy ninja can get some fresh air (with a brain like his, he needs it, trust me!) and Im planning having some future cancer sticks for him to smoke. Every cool katana/dagger wielding ninja needs smokes, the year doesn't matter, really. laugh.gif
The round thing in the middle, as sayd before, is the place for teh needle he needs, if he wants to quit his rampage mode. As you can see, the suit has a lot of 'holes', its all magnetic, babe. The ninja can stick his inventory to all of these holes. Needles, daggers, nades, smokes, etc.

Well, keep it real, seems like im getting some where with the concept.

hey ander! good stuff man. i have to say that i kinda liked how the first full-body sketch (in the lower left side of your second image) gave more of just the suit, as kind of breathing room, visually. you've developed the current iteration well, but i would suggest moving the belt to above the hips a little and giving that same sort of visual "space" just to have the striped suit-y bits show through. give the viewer too much of the same greebly ninja stuff and they've got nowhere to go, right?
in any case, you've always had a pretty well honed personal style, so i'm very much anticipating seeing you work that magic in the modeling and texturing stages... speaking of modeling, you look like you're just about ready to hit some. how about it, guy? smile.gif
