The concept below conveys the direction I'm going for, certain elements of the design may change once I start modeling but this is pretty much the look I want.
The guy's name is Altair? that means "flying eagle" or something in Arabic... so i was expecting more of that incorporated into the concept... at the moment it looks more like shiv (hindu god) or sheeva (from mortal kombat)
plus, i think u should at least try out some other forms and see if something else really interests u? i'm not saying this is bad, but maybe spending some time with thumbnails will help u get cooler ideas? it helped me at least!

Sorry for the confusion, you'll have to forgive the mental meanderings of 4 a.m. post, for some reason the name Altair stuck in my mind when ever I looked at the concept. I'm currently in crunch mode here at work so I don't get a lot of time to work on things other than work and since I never got past the conceptual phase at last years dominace war, I've decided to stick with my initial design. Much of it may change over the next 6 weeks or so but the basic blueprint is there.
well, here's hoping you get the time to get this saucy four-armed vixen out into the world and into the war. strong concept with good confidence to the linework... sure hope you post some more
Thanx Gauss!!! Here's some shots of the base geometry, I'm gonna do some poly reduction before I go any further, 4 arms with 4 hands eats polies fast, she's at 4380 as is, I'm gonna get her down to 4000 tonight.
.... it looks like the lower arms are a little long. i dunno it just seems like they were shorter in the concept. great design though. keep it up. dont get too bogged down with work!
Yeah I made the lower arms longer and thinner for purley aesthetic reasons. I did a quick painting of her face, I'm trying to get a intelligent and sinister look to her face. I haven't settled on what her hair should look like, I might try for a wierd mohawk look.
So I finished the head and all her little plates and such. I'm gonna spend a little time re-designing the face mask, I was never happy with the design for it, but I do like the face and I want to be able to show it off so I'm gonna go for some thing that accentuates the face and doesn't obscure it like the original.I'm at just over 5300 hundred polies to play with and I know of quite a few areas I could chop from if the need arises, with some luck I can start texturing this week.
Weapons!! 988 polies, I might trim down the handles and put more focus on the blades.
