Nice start but your still far away from getting some 3d work started. I still don't know what your really going for in this concept but it looks like you should do 10 more of these. Concept different characters out, you might find little things you like about all of the characters that you could put in your final character. Basically just do more brainstorming. You'll probably find out how to put evil, stealthy, and covert-op together. Keep us posted, I'd love to see more.
I've started on the basemesh and I'll get my crappy concepts up as soon as I get them scanned in. I'll probably do more prototyping in 3d and paintovers though since I can't draw squat

He's meant to have a stealth/muscle suit similar to the character in Crysis and matching helmet. Im open to ideas since I don't really have a final concept but have a general idea in mind(demonic/alien with four arms). I'll post the background story tomorrow at work
He will also have a BFG as a weapon. So yeah, basically a 4 armed demon in a stealthy muscley suit.
Also any tips on making hard surfaces in mudbox? Not sure if i'll have enough time to do the hard surfaces the traditional way(Not much time to work on this and I wanna spent a lot more time in the texture since my texturing is rubbish)
Thanks for the comments. Nothing special at his face, he's too low poly to get details there yet. I'll probably do a few head sculpts with him later.
Ok now the background story which is my sort of concept. No eleborate, and eloquent story yet, just the gist of it
In the center of the universe lies a planet where heaven and hell reside. They have been at war at each other for millions of years. When the catastrophe at polycount happened the ancients(heaven) decided to intervene. Thus hell joined on the polycount side.
The design im working on basically makes demons a race/mortal, not some supernatural being. They have been at war with heaven for million of years and thus all their technology is based around warfare. They don't evolve much so they compensate with superior technology. Although technologically advanced, they are still demons so his armour isn't pristine nor well maintained so i'll probably put some evil ornamental design somewhere.
Kool. looking nice. I think maybe u can give the other arms different details? maybe with some armor? how bout give him some type of weapon too? sword perhaps? Is he gonna have eyes? i like where you have taken him so far. Keep rockin.

Still playing around with a lot of ideas. It seems the more EVIL I make something the less stealthy and covert-opish is becomes

I like the idea of demon race, i was considering something similar in early concepting.

Small update. Im actually getting somewhere
but atm the arms are laking something to make them more interesting (like the legs.. leg leg leg leg .. )
same with the stomach
do this very fast and than make a lowpoly very very fast and than normalmap superbfast and than start texturing.. GOO !!
