Give her some more things to seperate her from the mindless masses. Make the glove ridiculously large, give her some decorative stuff, whatever you like.
I'm liking the sleekness, it really fits the brief.
Spawn called, he wants his cloak back
Crash called, he's back to hibernating now he's expended a year's worth of drawing...
okay okay, i kid, i kid. i kid because i love. you guys look like a pretty good pairing, and a strong entry so far... just keep pushing the concept. cloak is good, but she'll need even more to really get going.
Damnit Gauss, you beat me to the punchline.
I agree with everything Gauss said though. Keep pushing the concept with unique additions, and she'll be read to kick cgWHATEVER ass!
Oh, and 3dtotal.
i like the direction that you took the cloak. over all it still needs more interest, maybe a hood to go with that cloak, all assasins creed style. and the arm thingy, maybe less robot, more symbiotic. im not saying go all witchblade on it, but maybe some more clothworks and rags around the arm, so in the end, she looks like a homeless chick or refugee.
just the direction that i would run, but then again i crash into a lot of stuff.
I think you can do better than that one the claw thing. It has rather uninteresting shapes going on now. In fact there are no real shapes to speak of, just cylinders with stuff on them. Look for some inspiration in other armored creatures, from 14th century knights to deep sea crustaceans.
I like the cross shapes on her chest and shoulders, nice design going on there. Now go make that claw more interesting!
don't let crash get caught up in his endless detailing when you're just at the concept stage... at this point, i think you've got enough to get going on the model, no problem. save crash's somewhat limited sauce for when it's needed, on the texture!
I love the mesh work so far. Most people I see use quads almost exclusively in their faces, but you have a fair amount of tri's in their and it works out really well.
I'm curious as to your process. Is that a bone rig you used to get those expression, or morph targets?
And when you're going for open mouth expressions, do you have to create geometry for the teeth/gums, tongue, or can you get away with doing just teeth?
i think the knees could be a bit higher and thicker also. You might also want to make her more like a vase shape, she now has some "male" proportions in the torso. (the feet are very thin too)
other than the proportions, i like it!

She's supposed to be this slick shadow assassin, we've got a few more things going to make her more interesting, stay tuned.

It's kind of this large double cape that is almost like a sentient being, it can harden at will to protect her and can also be used in combat.
cool start!
edit: yeah nice idea fuse!
