    i'd like to see some good quick thumbnails out of you; and given your portfolio work, i would definitely like to see you develop some sort of interesting take on a powerarmor-y kind of guy. but stay away from sneaky man stealth suit cliches, and stay away from power armor cliches as well. if it starts reminding you too much of a famous design, then start doodling something else! smile.gif if it starts reminding you of some really cool design that very few people know about well then... so much the better. just keep your mouth shut laugh.gif
    anyhow. don't drag your feet on this one. you've got time now, so take advantage of it by developing your concept at your leisure--and this means not getting too attached to any one idea too quickly. keep sketching, and wait for the golden egg to drop, so to speak... no, i'm not entirely sure what that is supposed to mean, either.

    Been concepting a lot lately. These here are just a few of the more refined ones. I have been doing thumbhnails and many parts of the character are still up in the air. I am also still figuring out much of the body design. So, much of it is still undecided. I want him to be lava/heat/underground-based. As far as proficiencies go, I am leaning toward hand to hand combat specialist.

    I am going to post more tonight. I am just posting these right now to update my thread. I am aiming to have the concepting done by sunday.

    Been doin some concepts lately. Some were quick ones while I was at work. Recenly while browsing the other entires on here I discovered one that had a similar design as far the head goes (and it looked bad ass), so I'm probably going to design something else...

    As of right now I feel that the design is turning out rather boring. It's got kind of a "cool-looking but nothing you havent seen before" kind of feel.

    I'm eager to get to the 3d, but I want a design that is very unique and stands out, so I am going to keep concepting.

    I am thinking of taking the horn idea and just running with it, like having horns jutting out all over the place speradically and just really twisted and what not.

    I want him to be a character that has some armor, but is tough enough on his own to not need it. A lot of human characters I have seen in games and what not are covered with armor and seem to be dependant on it. I want him to have that predator aspect, where he is a very tough species in general, and whatever armor he wears is icing on the cake.

    I still want to go with the heat/lava/underground theme, so I am still trying to think of ways that I can integrate that more.

    So yeah. Any imput would be appreciated. I don't know if I'm going to have time to finish this guy, but if time permits, I'll completely re-design it from the ground up, if I have to.

    he looks nice, if you wanna go on with him, i'd say Keep the helmet, it looks really cool!
