Just reserving this space here. Need to think the theme through a little before I start working on the concepts.

Should be fairly quick.

Just something to get the ball in the court. I'm not feeling enough evil or coolness yet...

This feels more like something to work with.

The question is; does she need another weapon, like a gun or something?

    Nice
the sword thing is very cool
Maybe a compactly Pistol would be nice and you should do something with that belly...some kind of alien coming out of her belly would be cool...and evil wink.gif

This is looking really nice, something similar to what I had in mind for my concept. It's inspired me to push my armour design a little further. I really like the blade attachment, it really compliments the sharp curves on the spikes throughout the armour.

cool stuff, man. though in your first image post you claim it's just to get the ball onto the court, it seems like you're a little reticent to give it up now. that's how it goes, if you're not careful.... as i've been telling people, don't get married to your first girlfriend, if you take my meaning. i know how it is: at this point you've invested a lot in that one image, tinkering it and getting the pose and expression right, etc.--when what you need to be doing now is stepping back and considering broader design alternatives.
yes, the second image is an improvement, but you're adding a level of gloss onto a none-too-solid foundation. slow down. you've got some good core ideas (hot evil chick, what could go wrong??), but you need to keep pushing the armor and equipment design a good deal further if this entry is going to stand out in any way.
hope this helps... please keep us updated!

Thanks for the comments, guys. smile.gif

And gauss, thanks for pulling me back down on the ground. Back to the drawing table for me after work. Let's see if I can get some variations and other stuff up later.

Ok, I've been sketching some more things now, although it's pretty much the same theme, but with different ideas.

Hey, those floating blades are a neat idea. Explore some ways to make your character's manipulation of them look convincing.

I'm loving these 2 last styles of concept art, you know I do!
Totally wonderful poses all around, lovely solid stencils.
Personally, I think this is your best 2d work ever smile.gif

As you already know, I'm not a huge fan of the anime look you've got going for the head. Also I feel that the colorized concept doesn't do the character justice as well as the later sheets.
I'd love to see you go for a more realistic touch for this one, I mean like in your first modelsheet you've got a few different versions of the lower body (the hips, next to the *sigh* anime head), although I can sense a anime source of inspiration around them, I still think they are "not-anime"-enough to divert from your usual style, and take this piece to a new high. They have some kind of Tomb Raider "realism" to them, aye? smile.gif

Anyways, I'd love to see more brainstorm kinda concepts like these, unless you've settled for one already.
I just totally love the stencil ones with the white highlights <3

Yes flow3d, I know you don't like the head. I will try not to make it too anime-ish. wink.gif

Love it....I would work on the face a lot more though, I would make her older and more war hardened.<--is that a word?lol

Here's a view from behind and two guns... I'm really bad at guns. Should go and get me some references for futuristic evil guns...

I like the stronger sci-fi direction you've gone in with this bad girl. The spiky armor seems to suit her moreso, but as a personal preference I'd say leave the face exposed no matter what, since you did such a good job with her various expressions.

The gun however seems a bit forced I feel. Her whole body is lithe and thin, and looks like a graceful killing machine. A giant bulky gun would seem to just cramp her style. You made her look so deadly, I din't think she'd even need a gun. Awesome work though man!

Dread_Reaper: I wouldn't worry about me covering her face up. It was never part of the plan.
    Here are some quick colours:
