App to split up and print huge images?

I'm looking for an application that will take an enormous image, split it up into however many separate 8.5x11 chunks it takes to print it out at the size I specify, and save them out to print. Anyone know of an app like that?

I found Rasterbator (http://homokaasu.org/rasterbator/) and it does EXACTLY the splitting I want, and even puts the image into a multi-page PDF for printing all at once, except it performs this totally bullshit raster effect on it that you can't disable.

That did it. I suck at googling because I've somehow gone through a dozen different apps that all manage to do this wrong.
