I've been on vacation this last month without a stable connection, missed my polycount!
Anyhow, friend of mine showed me this earlier today. It was first displayed at Siggraph '06, so it's a bit old news now, but, for those of you that haven't seen it already, this is a neat little treat:

This was posted recently, and was revealed to be quite an old tech demo/university project, not very new at all.

The first link was discuses in your absence. The second is a nice addition to that conversation since no one really said where it came from. I suspected it was facegen since it has SOME of the same face copying features. Either way it looks like that is about 9 years old if Daz is correct.
