He has no real backstory...somewhere in the future, civilisations destroyed, mankind at the edge of extinction etc etc.
With all the woods gone the air became very thin and toxic so he he has some kind of respirator on his suit that supplies him with oxygen.
He´s some kind of collector who searches for parts and stuff he can use and fights off bandits with his trusty modified winchester rifle.
I´ve been working on and off this for the last week.
Wanted to call the modelling done and start mapping him but i´d like to hear some critiques on the mesh before i start.
Something I need to change?
Give me some critiques please.

Same thing for me as well.

I´ve been using photobucket for some time now...can´t say I´ve ever had trouble with it till now.
I agree with Slum though, think you should beef up his firearm. Big guns and shoulderpads can't go wrong.
Reminds me of this Bauhaus dude.
This one really rocks, seems like a great hero. I'd like to see him with one shoulder pad removed, might add some variation to his top.
Really like everything you put out Slaught, it all has great taste, and is well built. thumbs up
keep at it
I scaled up the gun a bit and started working on the uv´s and texture.
Here´s a first pass on the head.
I used a photo for the base and started painting over it, the nose and hair need a bit more attention but i´m quite happy with how it came out so far.
Of course crits & comments are still welcome.
good work

Apperently, so is he... maybe a bit too happy...
Did a little bit of a paint over, hope you dont mind.
I skewed his forehead in and raised it up (his eyes looked a bit too far up in his head)Then put some shading on the sides to give it depth.
Also made the eye brows go in a bit more (the gap between them looked too big).
With the nose i rotated the nostrils up (the whole nose was too flat from the front) and made it thinner as the shading was washing it all out bit.
Anyway it's looking really good, cant wait to seeing more
I fixed some of the stretching and most of the errors you guys pointed out, did some tweaking on the mesh too.
Looking good Slaught. Is he some kind of space cowboy meets space marine?
Crits:
- The eye brows are straight lines I would break these up a bit. Eyebrows curve over the eye on most people. A good place to have them peak is along the cranial ridge that runs up the side of the skull from the eye to the hairline.
- The mouth is also a straight line I would break that up also.
- The hair on the sides sticks out just as far as the hair on the top, giving him white guy afro shape. Ask any hair stylist and they will tell you guys normally have their hair shaved on the sides closer than what is on top.
I did a paint over since the changes I am suggesting are pretty subtle.
Really great work so far I look forward to seeing your texture work on the rest of it. If its half as good as the face you'll have a great model!
