I think you need to worry more about the basics before you work on 'next gen' style work. That doesn't really look like it's following proper anatomy, and there's some weird stretching on the texture.
Something similar happened to my chars after exporting them for the game and graphics engine CrystalSpace
I managed to fix it by creating the skeleton again (bones, not biped) without mirroring any of the bones
That's some really great work there. My only point of critique is the showcasing.
You can use some "Radial Blur" to suggest some movement in your scene. I've written a small tutorial for you on how to achieve this.
1) Start up "PhotoShop".
2) Click the left button of your mouse on the word "File" on the top left side of the programme, and a menu will appear.
3) Now left click "Open..." from the menu.
4) A new window will people up, you can now select your image on your "hard disk drive".
5) Now that you have opened your image, you can apply the "Radial Blur"-effect.
6) Click the word "Filter" on the top of the programme.
7) A menu will now drop down, left click "Blur".
8) Another menu will appear, left click "Radial blur..."
9) You can left click on the triangular slider and hold your mouse button down to increase and decrease the effect. We will select 15.
10) At "Zoom Method", press on the circle next to "Zoom".
11) At quality, press on the circle next to "Best" to ensure the highest quality for posting your work on the internet.
12) Now click the "Ok" button once with your left mouse button to apply the effect.
You can also try the "Lens Flare"-effect, I will explain that another time. I hope I was of assistance and I hope that you can continue to further improve your work in the future!
Actually Milkshape isn't the best choise man. A friend told me that with Mudbox or Zbrush you become a really great modeler, ultra detailed models made fast... the more bumps it has, the more realistic!!

You don't have enough valence-4 vertices. Is this thing even all quads?
Also more problem. How does project lowpoly models into highres normals space?!?!

If I had time I'd Photoshop Kurt Russell throwing a stick of dynamite screaming, "Yeah, Fuck you too!"
Good work on the Blair Monster, EQ

I'm shocked it wasn't made in milkshape. I swear milkshape has two buttons;
