haha I know what you mean, Rhinokey. Here in Michigan there are some machines that take both types of coins. Most places accept them like regular US currency around here.
Mental note: No more clandestine meetings at Starbucks with the CIA about invading Canada, the tip jars in those places are filled full of those things!!!
On second thought maybe that homeless guy really is just homeless?

i just want to point out that no one uses those coins anyway. Its the frigen old ass one dollar coin, those are worth more than a buck now days. Now if it was the current gold one dollar coin then maybe they should be scared, but thats just a bad rip off of an out of print coin.
The transmitter thing just makes me giggle because to transmit very far you need lots of power. So if those did exist they would only transmit few blocks if that.
I really liked this part:
"The U.S. report doesn't suggest who might be tracking American defense contractors or why. It also doesn't describe how the Pentagon discovered the ruse, how the transmitters might function or even which Canadian currency contained them"
U.S. Government for the win when it comes to the lack of sharing information with the public just to increase panic.

It would be interesting if we find out this is true though.
