I dont know if I will find time to finish it, but the subject seems too interresting that when I opened my skechbook I could not resist drawing a boar. (ran a bit out of the paper...)
I think you could have cheated and painted in the highlight of the eye (they're looking a wee to dark at the moment, more like stone than eyeball), but everything else is killer.
Did you model the lowpoly on top of the sculpt or how did you go about that?
Absolutely love it, especially the little tufts of hair
Diffuse and normalmap looks terrific, specular map looks questionable to me though if it was to be ingame.
first the eye question: yeah something is wrong with it. while making the textures I often changed it because I was not fully satisfied with it... until the moment appeared where I dreamed of going to sleep and suddenly I said its good enough.
merskum: I started with the basemesh and sculpted in the main forms->then changed the topology of that sculpt(used the old basemesh and gave it better polyflow)>started to sculpt on it (used as the lowest subdiv. mesh in zbrush)-> used it as the final mesh.
razorbladder: yeah the specular was produced on experimental ground. it was the first specular map with color that I tried, before I just made b/w ones. the final product is a mixture of some theorys for specular maps that are floating around, next time I guess I will invest more time in making it .
I waited till today to get a fresh look on him to re-adjust his maps, just need to take a secound look on all his maps before making up a updated presentation sheet.

good job!
Only thing I'd like to see is that little bump you have in the lower eyelid in the concept. Not much, but had to say something.
Oh, and the tail rocks!
