Yeah we were in futureshop trying to get a wii and we tried motorstorm in the kiosk and mid way through the game it locks up so we left. Like that shit was on purpose.

"Dude over there, says he keeps the kiosk off because it keeps freezing up."
"Nope. No it doesn't."
"Well, actually, yeah. It does. I've seen it happen myself."
"No. It doesn't. We did that on purpose."

Touche. Can't really argue with that. Love the whole bit about them not wanting people to play their demo kiosk all day long too. I mean, the last thing Sony need now is for people to start taking interest in their hardware, right?
I don't know. So far it seems the PS3 has less defected units than the 360 and Wii.
It still sucks that it feels all three of them can break if I sneeze over them, I've already had my 360 go fubar after trying out Dead Rising, and the Wii has had problems with the firmware updates. PS3 has been running nice and quietly but I fear for the worst.
the one at the local walmart has been frozen the 3 times i have been in there. was froze on Resistance fall of man, unless there is another FPS out for the console.
What's interesting about that article is the comments from the PS3 fanboy "gamez1". Who seems to only insult everyone and their mother, then himself types "... maybe you should be more constructive than hanging out on these websites ...". I'm thinking he works for Sony.
Tis true, they do freeze up on purpose. But the lack of any real exclusives, no controller rumble, high price tag, and de-emphasis on the 'game' side of a video game console is an accident. Sheesh, cut them some slack.
The PS3 at my local gamestop froze while I was playing Motorstorm as well. Of course, I've seen the 360 kiosk freeze up there as well.
I own an Xbox, a GameCube, and an Xbox 360 and none of them have ever frozen on any game, so I feel fortunate.
I saw the same thing at target, i clicked on a game to play and it reset the thing where then it sat in a loop trying to load up its os. After a few trys i guess it made it (i walked away for a few min) and then was stuck on its menu screen so i left to look at toys.
i was at gamestop in Raleigh, froze at least 5 times i was there watching. Even after they rebooted it. yeah, I'll pass on the ps3 for a little while anyways.
