So its basically it...meh...i heard some time ago it is a video codec problem, but i really have no clue, i have them all instaled ehehe...

Open a command prompt
Start>>Run>>type cmd>>OK
To disable the automatic preview run,
regsvr32 /u shmedia.dll
Try and find the corrupt movie and remove it from that folder. Then turn preview back on with,
regsvr32 shmedia.dll
when i actually opened the folder, windows would just constantly refresh itself, requiring a restart
