what do we know about mudbox 1.0 vs. nvidia quadro? are the performance problems gone by now? cause these were very significant in the beta and made the app totally useless.
I found mudbox to be much more user friendly. I was able to get up and rolling in literally minutes. I feel the quality of my art has been raised because I am not having to battle with the wonky UI and workflow that zbrush has. THere are some inovative tools and ways of doing things in mudbox that I prefer over zbrush. I havent played with the latest zbrush release. I just love the layers in mudbox. Really makes it easy on me to create and more importantly in a work environment revise my work. I also think the ability to have more than one mesh in the scene at one time is somthing I dont ever want to do without again. I respect pixologic (zbrush) for coming along and setting the bar, but I feel skymatter (mudbox) has raised that bar.
