after starting to watch tvlinks again i am wondering if there is a way to save the videos from the flash based video sites? i've had soem luck in the past by looking into the page source but there has to be an easier way.

this works for google video, youtube, and break. getting the right codecs is a tiny bit of work, but this will get you step forward by grabbing the raw video files.

it works on the principle that all you have to do for any of those videos is modify the url a bit, to give you a link to the actual video file. This site just takes the URL you give it, modifies it according to which site it's for, and then gives the link back to you in the form of a download request.

here is a good flv player i found that supports fullscreen. i just tested it with a mythbusters video from dailymotion, works great.
