Posted on the Silo forums but thought it might help someone out here...

I thought it might be worth mentioning to nVidia users about a ghosting fix that I've run across. I have an nVidia 6600 with a dual monitor display using latest Forceware 93.71 drivers. There is a single setting which when enabled, (as it is by default) causes the cursor ghosting when in displacement painting mode. There was also geometry flickering both in and out of displacement painting mode.

Display properties | Advanced | GeForce 6600 tab | Global Driver settings | Triple Buffering = On

Setting this to Off, applying settings and restarting Silo 2b has fixed the problem for me. I've tried other combinations of settings in that same driver settings dialog but the Triple Buffering is the only setting that has any effect.

Hope this helps!

edit: Same problem seems to happen with beta 3b. Same fix worked.

Thanks Sledgy! I had been just opening 3DS Max at the same time to fix this problem, but I had something pretty close to this on my Quardo FX 540 card, and I was able to fix it by changing a setting.
