It's f***ed up with a healthy measure of awesome. Loving the detail. But there are a few striations around the nose and eye that seem a bit too flat edged. I think rounding them out would make them fit better with the rest of the model and wouldn't stand out.
Pretty amazing dude.
I'm not too sure about the human hands. I think some of the blobbler detail from the feet would also be good in the hands. The head looks small in the side view, but looks fine in the front view.
You gonna bring that back into max/maya for baking? How many iterations in zbrush did you use? Thanks mate. Great stuff.
Also just thought of a name while counting his limbs.
How's the name XMmandable work for you? X in roman numberals for the 10 torso limbs you got going on.
I'm loving it! Reminds me a little of some of Kolby Jukes' work.
I can't help but feel the head is a little confusing looking, I mean the rest of it has very distinguishable parts, while the head just looks wonky. That's my opinion at least.
the tung somehow looks unfinished compared to the insane amount of detail/time spend with the rest of the face ( its almost too busy) also the mirroring/symmetricalness is painfully visible the hands look very human like respect for that i personally would have not given him human hands but thats your choice
Thanks for the comments guys. You ever start doodling on a peice of paper with the intent of not creating something necessarily appealing, but trying several ideas as far as techniques, strokes, shading, and whatnot, until the entire page is full of one mass that goes together, but wasn't planned? I think that is what happened here. I never sat down and made intentions about what it should be, or how it should work, I just starting doodling. I'll bring him to a finished low poly/texture through the same ideas.
nice detail work, he could easily be a animal muted by The THING! (see John Carpenters good movies)
He is definately too confused to read well - for my tastes but I would certainly like to see you turn your hand to a more structured design
Great work! I thought it was rather blobby and hard to read when I first saw it on Tweak, but you've really tightened it up a lot since then. There are some fantastic details here.
Also, I'm not sure how you pulled it off, but the anatomy almost seems believable!

Can't wait to see more!
mmmmmmm pretty.
Great work man, your knowledge of anatomy is exceeded only by your patience
