OMG... the new 'game design' commercial

I saw it yesterday on G4. I think it was for Collin County Community College. Anyways, the commercial has these two guys sitting on those AK Rocker chairs playing some console on a projector talking about how they have to fix the sound effects on the boss and design some other level or something.

Can anyone find the video? I've been looking, but I suck.

...And I can't believe they get paid to be in those commercials.

YES!! i was trying to tell rockstar about this the other day.. i couldn't find it on the internet.. holy crap its soooooo funny.. my favorite part is when the one guy says.. " can you believe we get paid to do this?"

hahahahaha i almost crapped my pants.. this is by far the greatest of all commercials.

yeah! I think it just hit the Dallas market. It was the first time I had ever seen it on the air.

I actually find it funnier than the Westwood one because you can see that they actually 'tried' on this one, only to fail...

I see this everytime I watch Star Trek: TNG on G4. It is aggrivating to see this crap when you are really trying to break in, but you can't help but laugh at the cheezyness of the commercial

The commercial is for Collins College (formerly Al Collins Graphic Design School). I see this commercial all the time on G4, as well. They used to be a good school to go to for art related education, but then the whole networking/IT/game design junk got added, and they got spread too thin and now it just sucks hard. I tried searching for the commercial, but couldn't find anything on it other than hilariously bad demo reels from there.

Ouch.... I remember when I was graduating from highschool that collins was one of my choicesm it was between SCAD, College for Creative Studies (Detroit) and Collins College of Art and Design.

The only reason I considered going there was a graduate from my highschool went there and was one of the lead artists at 2advanced.com that BAMF flash web design studio.

Collins seemed a little too eager to accept me into their school where scad, ccs required a 8+ piece portfolio review where as collins only required 3-5 pieces.

the final deciding factor to shelf the college came to me in the form of a promotional VHS tape they sent me that looked like it was produced in the 80s.

I know which G4 commercial you're talking about, it features a ray trace rendered robot thing that looks awful.

I don't even get G4 anymore, and I still see all sorts of crappy video game design commercials. The one I see most often is the one where they say, "We'd love to show you the world's greatest video game. There's only one problem... YOU HAVEN'T MADE IT YET!" It's pretty bad, but not even close to as bad as the crap posted in this thread
