Graphics card modding

Well I got a replacement PC but the snag is it only takes profile agp cards in it;s agp slot and the board doesn't come with a pci expres slot. I did a search on polycount and found that profile agp cards stop at nvidia 6200 series. I was wondering a few things...

Is it a bad idea to modify a standard agp card's metal plate to make it fit into my case? I did some measuring and it seems like I can get away with cutting part of that metal plate and cutting into the pc case to make it fit.

Does anyone know of profile agp cards that are higher than than an nvidia Geforce 6200 or Ati 9600 series? I did a search on google but I didn ot find anything. Thanks let me know what you think.

yeah don't go cutting up pc cards if you don't know what you are doing. metal flakes get on that card or in the fan or well just don't do it. to many things to go wrong. buy a new computer case.

Thanks for the response. I found a low profile card I liked so that will do for now until I build my new PC. I just needed something to hold me over for the next few months.
