Nice textures and shading...
my only critics would go to the teeth shading or lighting? something seems wrong about their specular on the two first pictures.. and on the third one the gum doesn't receive the shadow of the upper lip..
Also the earings don't project any shadow neither...
very good job though!

Yep, I noticed that. I suspect it may be the subsurface scattering material has too much spread and is softening off the shadow of the gum somewhat. These pics dont have the ambient occlusion layer, which does seem to ground the gums better.

Well, I love this dude you posted, nothing new there... he rocks just like your other stuff.

What's bothering me is that he looks so close to a character whom I can't find a good reference pic to show you the similarities of!

he's basically a shaggy mop from being a stylized version of Night Hob from The Neverending Story.
this is the ONLY pic that shows his face in any recognizable fashion....



He's got the nose, the teeth, even the earings! if anyone can find better shots of this character you will see what I mean.

Very cool work, seen a lot of your stuff over the years. One thing that would really top off this goblin character is a concave rounding where the rings penetrate his skin instead of the straight intersection as it is now. I know that's a whole bunch of extra work for essentially a small gain, but yeah... Still enjoy seeing your new goodies.
