Small Update:
There are several prospects that have decided to try out for the project,
but the game really needs a coder.
Also the game has been cut to the core of game play to make the project easier, fill the "meat and potatoes" of the average gamers needs first and ensure quality content.
IE The game is now going to be a action strategy formula somewhat like Dawn of War anf WarCraft that can be built up later.
Here are some early concept pics
And here are some in game voice dialogue roughs

Brief description:
An Online RTS that Blends the game play mechanics of Diablo, Dawn of
War and Mark Of Chaos into a progressive character based army strategy game.
The game itself has a very simple premise and grows more advanced as time goes on and if the user
wants it to.
You make a champion, the champion fights and quests.[Diablo]
The champion grows and gets troops.[Dawn of war]
The champion then wars and builds to scourge the land and fight for territory [Mark of Chaos]
Spells can be created in a simple yet attractive color based system.
Weapons and armor can be upgraded in a similar fashion.
The player environment is rich and detailed in history and has an original yet classical feel.
I have been working on this design for over a year with many ideas incorporated that will
make it a one of a kind experience that is not only highly playable, but memorable as well.
Target aim:
To enter it in the 2007 Make Something Unreal contest and/or make it a standalone game to be marketed.
Compensation:
No pay until marketed
Technology:
Unreal 2K4 sounds like the best engine to use, and the coding can be changed over
to 2K7 if needed with little worries. With RoboBlitz now out the game can be created on the 2007 editor in part or in full.
Why the Unreal Engine?
The reason I chose the Unreal engine are two fold.
First it is a widely used/played engine with a large fan base so there are allot of people that will potentially play the game right off, and making modifications [Even ones like this game that are really like whole new games] are completely free and legal to create.
Second, the Unreal engine is easy to code [Very similiar to C++ and Java script] and finding programmers that can code it will be easier than most engines even if the coder is new to UnrealScript.
Also Unreal and Nvidia are holding the MakeSomeThingUnreal Contest again in a year or so and the prizes are great and so are the rewards.

http://www.unrealtournament.com/ut2003/contest.htmlTalent needed:
Coders [Preferably with Unreal Editor experiance.]
Modelers [Mostly for character designs, but landscape and structures are needed as well.]
Texture Artist
Sprite/partical artist
Concept artists [Perferably that do color work]
Web Designer [Knowlage of basic Php a plus.]
Team structure:
CP=Lead designer and concept artist
Omani=Building and map structure modeler
There are several people on the team right now that are trying out but are not listed as full time members until they produce the content they have promised.
There is a character modeler, music composer, a flash web site designer and another coder all looking into taking part in the games development and these are only a few I have talked too without having any content besides what you see on the thread so far.
As the content grows I will look for more and more professional business like people that the game can rely on to start filling up positions.
