Ah, haven't seen you post in a while Lonewolf, looking great! The thumb switch looks like it could have had more wear behind it along the path it's been pushed. Always a fan of your weapon texturing.
Oh and you have Creayed for Pendulum Studios, though I'm sure that doesn't really matter
Wow. I guess I shouldn't be surprised that you guys can't keep your "next-gen blah blah blah" bashing out of one guys personal pimping thread. I just think that's a bit rude.
Lonewolf: Great work dude. I love the way it turned out. Some of the metal material looks a bit too much like stone. But that's a minor complaint. Nice work.
Slum, methinks the banter is a little more complicated than 'next gen bashing'.
It's exceedingly hard not to chuckle a little over the fact that the thread title says 'hi poly' about an asset that appeared in footage *fiercely* proclaiming to be realtime. Now *that's* pretty bloody funny.
But yeah, I can see how that could be annoying to the artist.
Lonewolf: That's a sweet model. My only niggle is that it feels very very 'dry' and brittle. Like Slum said, almost stone like. Could use a tad more spec perhaps. Nice work though man.
So I have to ask but I can't help it sorry. Does the fact that you can pimp it now mean Sony are finally having the balls to confessing that it was a movie? Sorry, but it irks me that they were never properly called on it.
Pendulum did a great job on the movie btw, I'd initially thought that it was Axis animation in Scotland.
Well done ^^ Only " haft " (not sure about the word), it looks like new one, the same with release. Other parts are rusted and we can see the marks of time. But this is still pro work

just to clear things up, this rifle was made to be used in a new trailer or so, not the one that posted while back
my bad sorry
bleh forgot to fix the type on the render =\
Urg, I hate the LR300 bits - never did like that gun. This looks good though.
only thing i'd crit is the fact that those rails wouldnt really work if it was a real world weapon
This one has two magazines taped together.
