Remeber the mention of those rumours? They're true.

Amazon is having some promo where you vote for a product that they will price down, then the winner will have it's price cut.

It's between the 360, a mountain bike, a barbie and some mebership thingy.

Provided the 360 wins (which I'm sure it will) it'll go on sale on thanksgiving day for 100 bucks.

bagh, ordering them from NTSC countries will be the same expensive, if it costs 60 USD there here it costs 60 EUROS , and the shipping covers the currency conversion, if someone could help me ( and others ) get it incase i would be thankfull for life!

I'm still debating on trying to get one. My daughters have a PS2 and that seems to keep them happy. I'm not even sure there is anything on the 360 that they would want to play. I don't play consoles anymore, so there really isn't anything in it for me But that is a DAMN good price and I'd hate to miss out and decide to get one later at regular price. (If I could even get one during this deal)

So... Basically you have a 1000 in 2-4 millionth of a chance. Given that the network they have can sustain that massive load, these transactions are not simultanious i'm sure. They probably give you a token as you are viewing the device that counts your place in line. So like a starving monkey waiting to press the red button for a bannana i will stalk the shit out of the site to obtain one.

It's worth noting that the $100 360 they are selling is the Core model. (as in, no hard drive for you) Naturally, for such a low price, it is still theoretically worth it. $200 total once you've gotten that hard drive, and still $100 less than the usual price of the Core. Definitely a good deal. I'll probably make an attempt. But I won't be holding my breath.

I have the same mindset... if I get one, cool... if I don't, bah, no biggy. If I decide to try.
The price is definitely worth it. The stuff the premium package comes with, can be purchased and still be less than the full premium price. And that is considering full retail. The hdd is just a basic laptop hdd. I just don't know if the housing/connector is already in the core version.

Yeah. Such a waste of a minute, too. I'm sure 85% of the units sold at that price were to botted accounts. And the other 15% should be glad they were even able to connect to the website during that time.
