Red 5 Studios, a quickly growing developer of online entertainment founded by former World of Warcraft® team leaders, is now looking for a few Concept Artists to join our dynamic and expanding organization in Aliso Viejo, CA.

Concept Artist Environments & Architecture Job summary:
The Concept Artist for Environments & Architecture will work directly with the Lead Concept Artist for Red 5 Studios to design incredible landscapes, skies or buildings for Red 5s upcoming MMO game. The ideal candidate has a strong color sense and an eye for landscapes and/or architecture.
Requirements:
Strong digital illustration skills using Adobe Photoshop
Proven experience in visualizing sets, worlds or architecture
Ability to develop and adapt to a range of art styles
Strong sense of color
Excellent communication skills
Passion for games
Pluses:
Matte painting
Background in Architecture
Prior game development experience
Concept Artist Industrial/Mechanical Design Job summary:
The Concept Artist for Mechanical Design will work directly with the Lead Concept Artist for Red 5 Studios to design fantastic mechanical devices and props for Red 5s upcoming MMO game. The ideal candidate has the ability to dream up and design devices, vehicles and props that look like they could actually work. A good understanding of industrial design and mechanical principles are a plus.
Requirements:
Strong digital illustration skills using Adobe Photoshop
Proven experience in mechanical, industrial or vehicle design
Ability to develop and adapt to a range of art styles
Strong mechanical sense
Excellent communication skills
Passion for games
Pluses:
Perspective skills, drafting ability
Prior game development experience
Internship Concept Artist Job summary:
The Concept Art Intern will work directly with the Lead Concept Artist for Red 5 Studios to develop orthographics and other production drawings for Red 5s upcoming MMO game. The ideal candidate has experience in character illustration and/or mechanical/industrial design. Environments, architecture and perspective work are also helpful. Hours are flexible.
Requirements:
Strong digital illustration skills using Adobe Photoshop
Experience in character design, mechanical design or environments
Ability to adapt to specific art styles
Excellent communication skills
Passion for games
Pluses:
Storyboarding skills
Drafting or Perspective Skills
