sketches from the road

figured i'd put up a topic for stuff i upload from the road... i'm sure i'll have more stuff when i meet up with other polycounters like Snowfly (late this month!) and Hawken (December!)

here are some from the last few days in Sydney. it feels surprisingly good just to be sketching on copy paper with a no. 2 pencil. after scanning, i put down some simple colors in photoshop to spice 'em up a little, but it's all mousework, no tablet at my current location.

Love it! There's just something about the ol traditional media that has that "feel". I like the bulk of the chickies armor. Pior style meets Andrew Jones.

love the screen print look of that last one. looks like a flier for a hipster show. the kind i like to steal and hang in my living room.
