The latest copy of the Official Playstation magazine has a demo of Guitar Hero 2 on it. I picked up a copy today and can't wait to get home and give it a run. =D
I didn't check it out because I mainly get PS Mag for the kids, but I saw it had the demo in it. I wasn't sure how you could demo a game like that without the guitar Maybe I'll swipe the controller from the kids and check it out

On a side note, does anyone know if the 360 version releases at the same time as the PS2 version?

Pretty sure that it's not going to. I imagine it's a ploy to get the rabid fanboys to buy both versions. I am also pretty sure it will work since that is what I will be doing
I read from a few sources now that it will be out in 2007, which ROCKS. I can play the PS2 version when it comes out, then when the 360 version hits, trade in both my controllers, the game and my PS2 and get the 360 version and an extra controller. AWESOMETASTIC.
You gotta play YYZ on co-op, kub. It's awesome. Especially if you can both handle (at least) hard.
Hard mode on Guitar Hero 2 is like Expert mode in Guitar Hero 1. Expert mode now is waaaay harder on the later songs. On the other hand, hammer-ons and pull-offs are so much easier to do now that it balances out a little.
acc was right. co-op is where it's at, boys and girls. he was also right about the difficulty. I thought I was going to pull something playing YYZ on hard.

The Amazing Royal Crowns is Jason Kendall's old band, btw. He works for Harmonix now.
